Absolutely — we encourage guests to treat our spa amenities as a restorative ritual, not just a feature.
Sauna: Limit sessions to 15–20 minutes, and always hydrate before and after. Use the striped spa towels to sit on the benches, and please avoid bringing any oils, lotions, or glass inside.
Hot tub & Cold Plunge: Rinse before entering, and please don’t add any products to the water. Please refrain from using glass in these amenities. Detailed instructions for use of the cold plunge are located in the guidebook. Additional hot tub guidelines for your safety and enjoyment are posted above the hot tub.
Yoga Deck: Yoga mats, blocks, crystal singing bowls, and other meditation and wellness equipment are located on the screened porch. The covered porch, open-air upper deck, and covered lower deck each offer a perfect spot for sunrise yoga while listening to the local birdsong and multi-tonal chimes. We ask that these items be returned to the screened porch after use.
These amenities are cleaned and maintained between each stay so every guest begins with a fresh start.

ArtHaus is on a well-maintained gravel mountain road with some steep elevation changes. While most guests arrive without issue, a capable vehicle ensures a smoother arrival — especially if you're arriving after dark or in inclement weather. In snow or heavy rain, we recommend a vehicle with all-wheel or four-wheel drive.
-
ArtHaus is located in a natural, wooded setting. Deer are regularly spotted in the community, and we provide binoculars to observe the many birds that sing ArtHaus to wake each morning. While we routinely use professional pest control services to keep tiny critters out, occasional sightings of insects is likely. The home is sealed and well-maintained, but we always recommend keeping screen doors closed and food stored properly. If you're comfortable being surrounded by nature, you're in the right place. It’s all part of the natural authenticity of a true mountain retreat!

While we love our furry friends, we have a no-pets policy for the convenience of other guests and to help us provide the most sanitary accommodations possible. In the event that guests bring a pet, the credit card on file will be charged a non-refundable fee of USD$450.00 per pet.
-
Yes, we can accommodate mid-term stays at ArtHaus.

We require a rental agreement for all of our stays–just like a hotel (though you probably don’t realize it during check-in at a hotel). It simply outlines the house rules, check-in/out details, and helps ensure everything goes smoothly for both of us. It’s a quick read and nothing out of the ordinary, just part of keeping your experience clear and seamless.
